Los Fogones is a staple in our weekly menu! We love the atmosphere in the restaurant and the flavor in foods. Literally, there's not one bad thing on the menu. Everything is wonderful. Savor it! And be sure to say hello to Chef Carlos. He's a delightful person to meet!

The food, flavor, service and price was very good. A place that is at the gate of a military base that do not offer military discount I don't understand that.

It was good but a little different than what I normally eat

How come you guys are closed on Sundays??? Every single restaurant is open on Sundays because the majority of people works Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is a day to go out with the family, most families, think about it

This was my first visit to Los Fogones. Everything about this visit was fantastic! The food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness....everything was perfect! Great ambiance...soft music in the background, fireplace, comfortable seating. The Peruvian roasted chicken, rice and sweet potato fries were delicious! This is a great place for lunch for a small group or a quiet dinner for two. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Good upscale restaurant with Peruvian Style. I had the rice with beef. Although it was delicious, I don't think that it rose to the cost. The bowl of rice with beef was $17.00. That was quite a bit much along with two dinner rolls. Waitress was very nice and caring.

Wow, this place was recently remodeling and it looks wonderful. Great service with even better food! I like that they have a party room, perfect for a nice big family party. Large menu from meat to fish. Don't forget the dessert, if the flan is available - get it!

Friendly staff, and this was the perfect meal to start my weekend I will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu

Updated 05-06-2020 My wife and I got dinner from here tonight. Simply amazing!!! Carlos is THE man!! We were treated like family and the food was wonderful. We both had a chicken sandwich and she had yucca fries and I had pan fried potatoes. It was all perfect. Carlos thank you for being so kind to us and for the wonderful service and food.We also preordered our Mother’s Day lunch for Sunday. I can hardly wait. It’s an amazing deal. We will be back ASAP!!

Beautiful renovation! Upscale dining that's perfect for impressing a date or a special occasion. Sunday lunch buffet is nice addition. Food selection is not typically suitable for children, but it's amazing. Service impeccable. Full service bar.

The food here was delicious. It was an offhanded recommendation from my wife and we decided to go. We ordered the grilled platter which was as you see in the picture. The owner Carlos took care of us as his staff was on break when we arrived. Watching this man run from kitchen to table to curbside was an inspiration to watch. My only complaint is that I didn't know there was a pork chop available for my delight, kicking myself right now. So not a real complaint. Can't wait to come back. The perfectly cooked meat as well as an epic flavor had guaranteed my return.

This place is located outside Seymour Johnson AFB. The food is Peruvian and the spices are amazing. They do a good lunch menu with daily specials. Try their tea it's delicious with amazing flavor.

I dined here for the first time tonight and it was great! The food was fantastic, the waiter was great. He was helpful in describing their different sauces. Try the yellow sauce! I swear it would be good on everything. The inside is absolutely beautiful from the dining tables to the walls of art. Its spacious with a comfortable hotel lobby feel. Ill definitely be going back

Online menu has the wrong prices. They’ve increased all their prices in the restaurant and did not honor their online prices even after being shown their own website. The food is not bad but the service could be better. We had a good sized group and it took 1 hour and 15 mins to get our food. I wouldn’t be so bothered if they just honored what their own menus (print vs online) stated. All needed is to take ownership of their own mistake. The customer should never have to pay for their mistake. That is simple customer service. Thanks. UPDATE: look at the response from them. Even after explaining the issue, they take a defensive standpoint instead of owning up to their own mistake and at least apologizing. One star for bad customer service.

Placed an order in person at 3:45 and paid for the order. Noticed an 18% gratuity added on to the total and asked to clarify that the tip was already included. He told me no and when I pointed out the gratuity I was charged he gave me cash back for the 18%. That should have been a warning as to the service. After he sorted out the payment, he told me the food would be ready at 4:45 and that they closed at 5. I arrived back at the restaurant at 4:35 and they're were over a dozen people waiting for their food. Long story short, after 6:00 came around, I asked for my money back and left. Poor management. Will not return.

Good food and sevice!

Never again! Overpriced food, slow service if you get any and if you join friends there they force 20% tip even though they did nothing to deserve a tip at all! I had to finally get up and walk to kitchen door to get someone to refill drinks and not busy at all!

Food is very tasteful. The waitresses were on point. Clara is a great working manager. Best ribs and fried chicken in Goldsboro. Salad bar on point.

Excellent food with a friendly and attentive staff

We stopped here for dinner on the fly while passing through. I love Peruvian food and had high expectations and it was even better than I expected! Beautiful place with extremely kind and helpful staff. Food was absolutely wonderful everyone at the table was very pleased. I will most definitely be back.

Went to eat a Birthday meal on Valentine's day. Ordered the filet mignon On the High side of Med-well. Meal came out center was deep Red almost purple. Sent it back again told them High side of Med-well. Came out about 3 mins later. Still a Dark pink. Ask them to take the meal and remove it from our bill. The COOK came out to tell me he made it correctly and he had been a chef for 25 yrs and HE know the correct meat temperatures. He didn't want to take it off my bill. Don't know if this was also the Manager because we received very Poor service all night. Because they automatically add 18.75% gratuity. I would give them 0 stars but 1 is the lowest.

Delicious food with great variety. Their sweet tea is a little different with a cinnamon kick. Love their meats with some delicious rice and veggies. Great time with friends and the staff is wonderful.

Tried them Tuesday night for the first time ever! My dad has eaten here and recommended EVERYTHING so that’s what we did! We got the Carlos Platter, the lamb was delicious, the steak was the best steak I’ve ever eaten, the chicken was so delicious and went perfectly with the house rice. The shrimp?? BOMB! The ribs? AMAZING! Literally everything was so delicious and such an amazing price for the food you get. The owner himself handed me my meal, all the meat is fresh and I believe he said organically farmed and raised. Everything was cooked perfectly, so tender and juicy! The steak, you don’t even need a knife it just melts. Will definitely be eating here again and recommending this place to EVERYONE!

I got the fried mixed seafood & fish dish. It was delicious, especially the scallop. The fried scallop was soft, juicy, and full of flavor--as well as the other fried seafood in the mix. The fried yuca was the best I have ever had, and I grew up around Hispanic cuisine. My boyfriend got the Peruvian stir fry steak, which he says was also delicious. Victor, the waiter, was really nice and made conversation. They informed us that today was the last day they were open until mid September due to renovations and expansion of the building. Definitely would come back.

The food is excellent and plentiful. I had the ceviche and lomo saltado. The ceviche was a generous serving of excellently prepared fish. The ceviche was probably one of the best I had. The lomo saltado was cooked to perfection and a very generous serving of meat and veggies. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall a great experience.

It was great food and service. And the bartender was very friendly.

The food was very good. I gave it a 4 because they seem short staffed for a Friday at lunchtime. Only 2 waitresses for a half full restaurant. I forgot the name of my dish but it was awesome. Chicken, shrimp, and veggies over fries with a side of rice.

Very disappointed. Poor service and kinda a rude chef who claimed to have 25 years of cooking experience, yet he failed to cook meat to appropriate temperature for my family's meal. Not sure I will be returning. The one plus for me was the live entertainment.

The food is so good and tasty I really enjoy the salad bar and the staff are so amazing. My favorite dish is the seafood and the son with an incredible sauce.
